Edinburgh's "Hearts" team officially announced that Lithuanian Edgaras Jankauskas has become the assistant coach of the new club manager John McGlynn.

"I have already worked with him in the past and I know how talented he was on the field. I am convinced that Jankauskas, drawing from his coaching experience in Russia, will be an important part of our team," said the club manager J. McGlynn.

The club's website notes that the former footballer has played for "Porto" under the guidance of Jose Mourinho, with whom he won the UEFA Cup and Champions League in 2003 and 2004. Jankauskas played for the "Hearts" team from 2005 to 2007 and scored 13 goals.
