"Manchester City" signed 26-year-old center-back Eliaquim Mangala to Everton in the final minute of the transfer window.
E. Mangala spent last season on loan at Valencia, but returned to Man City in the summer and occasionally made appearances on the field.
Everton aimed to strengthen their defense this winter and finally reached an agreement with Man City. The agreement does not include an option for Everton to acquire all rights to the Frenchman after the season.
Throughout this season, E. Mangala has appeared 15 times on the field and contributed to Man City's successful journey in the Premier League.
In the past, E. Mangala has also played for Standard Liege and Porto.
