„Leicester City“ team announced on Friday evening that they have acquired Ahmed Musa, who previously played for Moscow's „CSKA“ club.
Although the club did not disclose the exact transfer fee, there have been reports in the press that the Nigerian national team player will be the most expensive player ever acquired by the „Foxes“. According to Sky Sports, the forward cost around 16 million pounds for the English champions.
„I can't wait to meet the fans in the new season and I will do everything I can to make them happy. I am coming here because it is one of the best clubs in the „Premier“ league and they all feel like one family. These are the main reasons why I joined „Leicester City“ and I am very happy about it“, Musa said to the club's website.
The 23-year-old forward scored thirteen goals in the Russian championship last season. Musa has signed a four-year contract with his new club.
