Liverpool's "Everton" signed a four and a half year contract with Zurich's "Grasshopper" forward Shani Tarashaj. The 20-year-old became the first "iris" acquisition during this transfer window.
However, he will not immediately bolster the Merseyside club and will play on loan basis until the end of the season for his current team.
The Swiss forward of Albanian descent broke into the main "Grasshopper" lineup last season, scoring eight goals in 18 matches.
"Signing a contract with "Everton" was my dream," - Tarashaj told Everton TV. "I am very proud of myself and happy to be here."
The new acquisition was also pleased with the coach Roberto Martinez, who said that a bright future awaits the sniper.
