Official: "Everton" acquired J. Pickford for 30 million pounds sterling

Liverpool's "Everton" official website has announced that they have successfully completed negotiations with "Sunderland" and have acquired 23-year-old goalkeeper Jordan Pickford for a record amount for the club.

The goalkeeper, considered a future prospect for the English national team, could cost "Everton" a total of 30 million pounds sterling. "Iris" will initially pay 25 million pounds for the player, with an additional 5 million depending on the team's and the player's performance.

J. Pickford becomes the third most expensive goalkeeper in the world, with only Ederson, who reinforced "Man City" this summer, and Gianluigi Buffon, acquired by "Juventus" many years ago, costing more.

"I am delighted to have signed a contract with this club. Last season was my first in the "Premier" League, so I am happy to have the opportunity to continue my football career in this championship," said the goalkeeper, who signed a five-year deal with "Iris".

J. Pickford, who has already been loaned to several teams during his short career, played 30 games for "Sunderland" last season.
