"Everton" confirmed on their official website that A. Gomes signed a five-year contract with the club. Barcelona will receive 25 million euros for the Portuguese who did not meet expectations. "I am happy to sign a contract with Everton. Making the decision was not difficult, and I am glad that I am finally a full-fledged Everton player," said A. Gomes. The 25-year-old defender joined Barcelona in 2016. The Portuguese, who was sold for 35 million euros with an additional 20 million in bonuses, played 78 games with the Catalans. In the last Premier League season, A. Gomes appeared 27 times in the field and scored one goal.
