Official: "Everton" acquires Richarlison for a record sum

Liverpool's "Everton" informed on their official website that the latest club purchase for a record amount is the 21-year-old Brazilian Richarlison.

"The Toffees" surprised everyone with this transfer, as they paid a record amount for the young footballer - 50 million pounds. The Brazilian underwent a medical examination yesterday and signed a five-year contract on Tuesday evening.

Richarlison, who plays as a winger, arrived in England last summer - he joined "Watford". The promising player appeared 41 times last season and scored five goals.

Richarlison is well known to current "Everton" manager Marco Silva - under his coaching at "Watford", the player thrived and became a sensation in the Premier League.

However, the second half of the season was not impressive for the player himself, but "The Toffees" did not hesitate to spend a significant sum on him.
