On Saturday evening, Liverpool's "Everton" team officially announced that they will be adding Moscow "Spartak" club's midfielder Aiden McGeady.
The 27-year-old footballer with Irish roots signed a four-and-a-half year contract, which unofficially cost the club 2 million euros.
This season, the Irishman played 13 matches in the Russian Premier League, scoring one goal and providing 7 assists.
Before moving to the "Spartak" club, A. McGeady played for Glasgow "Celtic" and spent three and a half years in the Moscow team.
"Everton" also announced that striker Nikica Jelavic will be leaving the team and will now wear the jerseys of "Hull City."
The Croatian striker has been wearing the "Toffees" jersey since January 2012, when he moved from Glasgow "Rangers" club to Liverpool for 6.6 million euros.
In the first half of 2012, the striker shone in the "Premier" league, scoring 9 goals in 13 matches, but later on he lost his form.
Unofficially, "Hull City" will pay 7.5 million pounds for N. Jelavic.
