"Inter" Milan's defender Freddy Guarin followed in the footsteps of other famous footballers Gervinho and Ramires.
It has been officially announced that the Colombian national team defender has moved to the Chinese league for an undisclosed fee and will represent Shanghai Shenhua.
The club's head coach Gregorio Manzano was pleased with the new acquisition.
"Congratulations to Freddy for joining our team - he arrives filled with enthusiasm and desire," the strategist said.
This season, the defender played 16 matches with "Inter" and, feeling increasing competition from Geoffrey Kondogbia and Marcelo Brozovic, decided to move abroad.
