The center-back of the "Liverpool" team, Fabinho, has extended his contract with the club until 2026, as announced in an official statement. The 27-year-old Brazilian has been playing in England for the past three years. In his second season, he played a very important role, helping the "Liverpool" team win the long-awaited "Premier" league title, as well as the UEFA Champions League title in the previous season. Last season, Fabinho was plagued by injuries, and he had to play in a somewhat unusual position as a center-back. This contract will expire when Fabinho is 32 years old, and the center-back himself commented on the signing: "I have been happy since the beginning of negotiations, as I want to stay here, in this club, and continue to play for Liverpool. Now it is official and I am very happy." Recently, Liverpool also extended the contract with Trent Alexander-Arnold, and soon they should do the same with goalkeeper Alisson.
