Milan agreed with Madrid on the acquisition of forward Diego Forlan.

Although the details of the deal are not disclosed, it is unofficially announced that the Uruguayan left Italy for about 5 million euros and will sign a five-year contract.

"The opportunity to move to a team like Inter doesn't come every day," Forlan said at a press conference. "I am happy with the decision I made - it's normal that someone leaves and someone arrives."

In Milan, Forlan will have to replace another forward Samuel Eto'o, who moved to Anzhi Makhachkala this summer.

Last season, Forlan scored ten goals in 42 matches.
