„Wolverhampton“ team will have a new coach, who will be former „Benfica“ strategist and previously worked in England, Portuguese Bruno Lage. At the end of the season Nuno Espirito Santo announced that he will leave the „Wolves“ after a long period, so they had to look for a new coach and it was no surprise that their eyes turned to Portuguese coaches again, and among them was Bruno Lage's candidacy. B. Lage has coached the „Benfica“ club, with which he won the „Primeira Liga“ gold. Standing in the middle of the season at the helm of the team, the Portuguese from the 16th to the 34th round achieved 18 wins and 1 draw, also in one season he defeated both „Sporting“, „Porto“, and „Braga“ teams - the biggest rivals of „Benfica“. At the end of the next season, Bruno resigned and has been unemployed since. B. Lage has also worked in England for three years, in the „Championship“ league.
