The capital team of Germany, "Hertha," informed on their official website that Salomon Kalou, who belonged to the "Lille" club, has strengthened their ranks.
The 29-year-old striker signed a three-year contract with Berlin's "Hertha" today. The African player played in France for two seasons.
"Salomon is a top-class striker, as he has proven in the English Premier League, UEFA Champions League, and national team," said the club's director Michael Preetz.
Earlier, the footballer was a long-time member of London's "Chelsea" club. He played 251 matches for the "Blues," scoring 60 goals and making 40 assists.
"Hertha" has had a disappointing start to the Bundesliga season. After two rounds, they have only one point.
