Dortmund's "Borussia" team has a new head coach: 60-year-old strategist Lucien Favre has taken the position. The coach from Switzerland is coming to "Borussia" from the French club "Nice", where he worked for the last two years. In his first year, he led the team to third place in the "Ligue 1" championship, and last season his team finished eighth in the French league. This is not Favre's first experience in Germany: he has previously worked with "Hertha" and "Gladbach", spending several years in total in Germany. He spent the longest time at "Gladbach", leading them to the top four twice, and in the 2014-2015 season, his team won the bronze medals in the German championship. Last season, "Borussia", which finished fourth in Germany, signed a contract with the new coach until the summer of 2020.
