London's "Fulham" announced that they have acquired Aleksandar Mitrovic from "Newcastle United", who played in the capital on loan last season.
The Serbian striker, who arrived at "Craven Cottage" only in the summer, immediately became a favorite of the fans, as he was one of the key figures who helped the team return to the Premier League.
The 23-year-old sniper scored 12 goals in 17 Championship matches, so as the media reports, "Fulham" decided to splash out 22 million pounds for him.
"I am very proud and very happy to finally be here and officially become a Fulham player. I am happy up to the moon," Mitrovic told the club's official website.
"I love the fans. They are amazing and I have a really good relationship with them."
"This is a big club and last season we made history. We achieved important things and I want to continue that. We want to continue aiming high goals and, together with the fans behind us, I believe we can go far."
Mitrovic signed a five-year contract and will wear the number nine jersey.
