London's "Tottenham" has regained forward Gareth Bale after a seven-year break. The North London club officially announced on Saturday that the 31-year-old player, who belongs to Real Madrid, will play in the team on loan basis approaching the upcoming season. "Tottenham" will pay approximately 20 million pounds to "Real" for Bale this season, including the player's salary. The forward previously played for "Tottenham" from 2007 to 2013.
The London club also introduced another player arriving from Real Madrid - defender Sergio Reguilon. "Tottenham" paid around 30 million euros for the 23-year-old Spaniard, and the player himself signed a five-year contract. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, "Real" has retained the option to buy back the player in the future for around 45 million euros. Interestingly, S. Reguilon was long linked to "Manchester United".
