Official: G. Donnarumma does not renew contract with "Milan"

"Milan" announced unexpected news to their club's fans - it is announced on the official website that the most promising goalkeeper on the planet, Gianluigi Donnarumma, has decided not to renew his contract with the club.

The 18-year-old goalkeeper has a contract with "Milan" until 2018. Recently, there have been rumors in the media that G. Donnarumma finally decided to sign a new contract with the "Rossoneri", but today a "Milan" representative unexpectedly announced at a press conference that the player decided not to sign it.

"Milan" president Marco Fassone stated that the player is willing to continue cooperation with the club until the summer of 2018, but the fashion capital team should seriously consider the player's future now because if the player stays for the next season, they will not receive a single cent for him next summer, and by selling him this summer they can receive the buyout amount specified in the contract - about 45 million euros.

"About 10 days ago, we made a very serious offer to Gianluigi Donnarumma's representatives - more serious than reported by the press. However, the player decided to reject it. He will end his cooperation with "Milan" on June 30, 2018," - said M. Fassone at the press conference.

However, it is expected that "Milan" will decide to accept an offer for the Italian national team goalkeeper this summer. It is said that the most chances to acquire G. Donnarumma are held by Madrid's "Real" club, which will also try to start negotiations with Mino Raiola (player's agent).

It is also not ruled out that "Milan" may receive offers from "Manchester United" and Turin's "Juventus".
