Official: G. Higuain and M. Caldara become "Milan" players, L. Bonucci returns to "Juve"

On Thursday, Turin's "Juventus" and "Milan" officially announced one of the biggest deals of this summer.

For some time it was known that Gonzalo Higuain would be arriving at "Milan", and Leonardo Bonucci would be exchanged for "Juventus" defender Mattia Caldara.

Today there are no more uncertainties - G. Higuain, along with M. Caldara, successfully passed a medical examination at the "Milan" club, and Leonardo Bonucci has already joined "Juventus". The return of the defender to Turin will cost the Italian champions 35 million euros, which will be paid over two years.

"Milan" agreed that initially G. Higuain would be loaned and 18 million euros would be paid for the season-long loan. After the season, the Argentine will fully belong to the "rossoneri" team, when they will pay another 36 million euros.

L. Bonucci returned to "Juventus" just a year after leaving the team. 24-year-old M. Caldara had a very successful season on loan at "Atalanta" club last season.

G. Higuain was acquired by the "Juventus" team in 2016 for an impressive 90 million euros. The Argentine did not disappoint the Turin team's fans - he scored 55 goals in 105 matches.

L. Bonucci, who left "Juventus" rather scandalously, played 51 matches last season in Milan and was the captain of the team.
