"Leicester City" club today officially announced that they have signed a contract with experienced "Napoli" midfielder Gokhan Inler.
The 31-year-old Swiss player cost the "Foxes" just 6 million pounds sterling and signed a three-year contract with the Premier League club.
Having started the season well, "Leicester City" were looking for a replacement for Esteban Cambiasso, who left the club last summer. After a long search, the club finally managed to find a replacement.
G. Inler played for "Napoli" since 2011, when he moved there from the "Udinese" club. The Swiss midfielder was an important player for both teams for the majority of his career in Italy.
In the Swiss national team, G. Inler has been playing since 2006, and was appointed captain in 2011. Over nearly a decade with the national team, he has played 84 times and scored 6 goals.
