A few years ago, Gael Kakuta, once considered one of the most talented French footballers, will have a new and permanent club.
It is announced on the official website of "Sevilla" that the 23-year-old footballer has finally parted ways with London's "Chelsea". The duration of the contract with the French Europa League winners has not been disclosed yet.
Last season, the right-back already got used to playing in Spain, competing on loan basis for Madrid's "Rayo Vallecano" team. In 23 matches played, he scored four goals and provided six assists.
"I am here because I gave my best in the 'Rayo' team. Now I hope I can be useful to the 'Sevilla' team," said G. Kakuta. "I like Sevilla's project and I want to play football in this club."
The Frenchman was called up to "Chelsea" in 2009. However, the footballer has been on loan to various teams since 2010, including "Fulham", "Bolton" and "Lazio" clubs.
