"Valencia" officially announced that they have rented Inter Milan's midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia for the season and will have the option to buy his contract. Nerazzurri paid 30 million euros to Monaco for the Frenchman in the summer of 2015 and expected a lot from him. However, the 24-year-old player's start in Italy was not great, so the new coach of the "fashion capital" team, Luciano Spalletti, decided to give up his services. Inter recently acquired Matias Vecino and Borja Valero from Fiorentina, which means that Kondogbia had even less playing time left. This situation was taken advantage of by Valencia, who rented their second Inter player. Previously, the "Bats" team was joined by defender Jeison Murillo. Kondogbia played 50 matches in Serie A over two seasons.
