Paris Saint-Germain officially confirmed that they have reached an agreement with Sevilla for the transfer of 26-year-old Polish national team defensive midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak to the champions of Ligue 1.
In the last two seasons, the Polish player, who wore Sevilla's colors, was linked with several clubs this summer, but Paris team won the battle for the talented player. It is announced that a five-year contract has been signed with the midfielder.
"I am very happy to be returning to France and to be able to wear the jersey of a very ambitious club. Of course, the opportunity to continue working with coach Unai Emery was one of the reasons why I came here," Krychowiak said.
For Krychowiak, France and its football are not unfamiliar. In 2006, the Polish player arrived in France and began attending Bordeaux's youth academy. Later, he broke into the first team and played for clubs like Nantes and Reims.
In 2014, the Polish national team member arrived in Sevilla and, in two seasons, played 89 games and won two UEFA Europa League trophies.
