Official: G. Pellè leaves "Southampton" and moves to China

In China will play another football star of recent seasons - Graziano Pelle, who played for "Southampton". The new 30-year-old striker will join the "Shandong Luneng" team in the highest Chinese football league.

It is reported that the Chinese paid £13 million for the experienced footballer from the "Southampton" club. The player himself negotiated a 2.5-year contract with the Chinese and will earn £100,000 per week.

G. Pelle played with the Italian national team in this European Championship. There were rumors that London's "Chelsea" would try to acquire him, but the footballer most likely chose money over the opportunity to continue playing at the highest level.

The Italian joined the "Southampton" team in 2014 when the "Saints" paid £8 million to "Feyenoord" for him. In two seasons, the striker played 81 matches in England and scored 30 goals.

It is worth noting that not long ago, Brazilian Hulk also went to China for a record amount for Asian football.
