London's "Arsenal" managed to keep their country defender Hector Bellerin in their ranks. The club announced today that he has signed a new long-term contract.
The 21-year-old footballer broke into the main "Gunners" team two seasons ago and has now become one of its key members.
It is not surprising that "Barcelona" wanted to bring him back, and this summer the Spaniard had the honor of representing his national team at the European Championship.
Moreover, last season Bellerin was included in the "Premier" league's symbolic eleven and ranked third in the team for assists.
The defender is currently injured and will be unable to play for a month, but the signed contract should at least partially please Arsene Wenger and Arsenal fans.
Bellerin has been wearing the Arsenal kit since 2011.
