“Wolverhampton Wanderers” announced that the team's young talent Hugo Bueno has signed a new contract with the team.
The 20-year-old Spaniard has recently “broken into” the first team, but has not stopped impressing with his performances. The club reacted fairly quickly and decided to reward him with a four-year contract with the possibility of extending it for another year.
“Wolves” technical director Scott Sellars did not hide his satisfaction:
“We always try to reward young players who are doing particularly well,” said Sellars. “In the first few days, it was hard for him to adapt to the physicality of English football. But I don't think anyone in the academy has worked as hard as Hugo has in terms of improving his physicality.”
“He was rewarded for his performances in the Premier League with a new contract. He is a great example of what hard work can achieve.”
