Munich's "Bayern" club has confirmed that former assistant Hansi Flick will continue to lead the main team.
The 54-year-old football specialist was supposed to take over the "Bayern" team after head coach Niko Kovac was dismissed.
He took over the team and led them to two victories - against Piraeus "Olympiacos" and Dortmund "Borussia". Having successfully passed the first exam, the German got the opportunity to continue working for at least a few more months.
"Bayern" stated in an official announcement that H. Flick will be in the head coach's seat at least until the winter break.
"Flick has a training and tactical concept that leaves a really good impression. He works well with the players and we really like his pleasant demeanor. I can say with complete confidence: we trust Hansi Flick," said the club's president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
