The new head coach of the club, Roy Hodgson, was appointed on Friday.

The 63-year-old specialist started this season by managing the "Liverpool" team, but was dismissed at the beginning of January due to poor results.

Hodgson will replace Roberto Di Matteo in this position. He lost his job after Sunday's 0-3 loss against "Man City".

The experienced 63-year-old strategist, who has previously managed teams such as "Fulham", AC Milan's "Inter", as well as the Swiss national team, has signed a contract valid until June 2012.
