Milano "Inter" officially won the battle for the acquisition of 22-year-old "Atalanta" central defender Roberto Gagliardini.
The fashion capital team will be borrowing the promising Italian until the end of the next season. "Inter" will acquire all rights to him in the summer of 2018, with the total transfer fee amounting to 25 million euros.
"Inter" has been competing with Turin's "Juventus" club for the highly valued defender in Italy in recent months. According to reports, "Bianconeri" also wanted to sign a contract with R. Gagliardini.
After arriving at "Inter," the young footballer said: "I am happy to have become an "Inter" player, this is a dream come true. I can't wait for the moment to work with Stefano Pioli, meet my teammates, and wear the "Inter" jersey at the 'San Siro' stadium in front of my fans."
R. Gagliardini is a product of the "Atalanta" club. This season, the defender played 13 matches in the Italian "Serie A" championship and provided two assists.
