Official: "Inter" sold to Chinese businessmen

Today it was officially announced that the new owner of Milano's "Inter" is the Chinese business group "Suning". They acquired 70% of the club's shares and owner rights from Erick Thohir, who acquired them in 2013. A total of 270 million euros was paid for this. Thohir, who was involved in the deal, along with vice president Javier Zanetti, will retain their administrative duties. Meanwhile, honorary president Massimo Moratti will step down from the "Inter" board. Former club chairman Ernesto Paolillo told "Radio 24" that the sale was inevitable because during Thohir's tenure, the team failed to win any trophies and the budget was teetering on the edge. "Inter" has become only the third foreign-owned club in the entire "Serie A" championship. Currently, Americans own "Roma", while Canadian businessmen control "Bologna".
