"Barcelona" and "Valencia" have made indirect exchanges - Jasper Cillessen, who previously played for the Catalans, will be replaced by 29-year-old Brazilian Neto in the "Blaugrana" squad.
"Valencia" officially confirmed on Wednesday that they have acquired the Netherlands national team goalkeeper for 35 million euros. Today both clubs confirmed that the former "Valencia" goalkeeper is moving in the opposite direction.
According to an official statement from "Barcelona," "Valencia" will immediately receive 26 million euros, with an additional 9 million euros as a bonus amount. So essentially both teams will have possibly paid around 35 million euros for their goalkeepers.
Neto will sign a four-year contract with "Barcelona" and will become Marc-Andre ter Stegen's backup.
In the "Valencia" team, the Brazilian has been playing since 2017. During that time, he has played 80 matches and triumphed in the Copa del Rey.
