34-year-old Joleon Lescott is returning to England and will be wearing the "Premier" league team's jersey at least until the end of the season. "Sunderland" announced on their official website that they have signed a contract with the former English national team defender until the end of the season. Last season, J. Lescott was still playing in the "Premier" league, but he couldn't help the "Aston Villa" team stay in the top league of the country. J. Lescott shook hands with the Athens AEK club at the end of the summer, but due to injury, he only played four matches, and in November the contract was terminated by mutual agreement. In total, J. Lescott has played 286 matches in the "Premier" league. While playing for the "Manchester City" club, the Englishman managed to win the country's championship twice. "Sunderland" is in last place in the "Premier" league after 22 rounds.
