„Porto“ confirmed that Madrid's „Atletico“ agreed to pay the requested 35 million euros for Jackson Martinez's buyout.
Both the agent and the player himself confirmed the transfer last week. Prior to this, the Colombian had to reject an offer from „Milan,“ where his national team colleague Carlos Bacca will move.
Martinez spent three seasons at „Porto,“ during which he played 136 matches and scored 92 goals.
Throughout this period, the striker was the top scorer in the Portuguese league: in his first year Martinez scored 26 goals, in the second - 20, and this season the Colombian stood out with 21 goals.
