Julian Nagelsmann will continue to lead the German national team after the European Championship.
It was officially announced on Friday that the 36-year-old specialist has extended his contract with the German Football Federation.
The new coach's contract will be valid until the end of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
"This is a decision I made following my heart. It is a great honor for me to coach the national team and work with the country's best footballers.
We want to perform successfully in the upcoming European Championship at home, and then the challenge of reaching the World Cup awaits," commented J. Nagelsmann on the decision.
