"Leicester City" attacking leader Jamie Vardy has signed a new contract with the club. On Wednesday, the "Foxes" officially confirmed that the 33-year-old Englishman has put pen to paper on a new three-year deal. The old footballer's contract would have been valid until 2022, however, the "Leicester" management decided to reward last season's most prolific "Premier League" player with a higher salary and extend the contract for another year. "I am enjoying playing within the 'Leicester' ranks and I am very pleased that I can continue to do so. We have an amazing team, which, in my opinion, can achieve even higher results," - J. Vardy spoke after signing the contract. The Englishman has been playing for Leicester's team since 2012 and during this time he has already played in 310 matches and scored 130 goals. It should be reminded that the "Foxes" recently extended the contract with another important footballer, James Maddison.
