London's "Chelsea" club has finally managed to reach an agreement with Florence's "Fiorentina" for the acquisition of midfielder Juan Cuadrado.
The 26-year-old footballer has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with the team led by Jose Mourinho. He will replace the departing Andre Schurrle in the ranks of "Chelsea".
"I am very happy for this opportunity. It is a great club and I sincerely say that moving to "Chelsea" is like a dream. I know that the coach believes in me," said the new "blue" recruit from Colombia.
Regarding J. Cuadrado's unclear future in the "Fiorentina" club, discussions had already taken place last summer. However, the Colombian stayed in Italy for half of the season and scored six goals in 23 matches.
It is believed that "Chelsea" did not hesitate to pay 27 million pounds sterling for J. Cuadrado.
