28-year-old Colombian national team winger Juan Cuadrado no longer belongs to Chelsea in London - Juventus in Turin has acquired all rights to the footballer.
It is stated on the official website that the Italian champions took advantage of the buyout option specified in the loan agreement and acquired all rights to the Colombian for 20 million euros. Juventus committed to paying the full amount over the course of the next three seasons.
J. Cuadrado spent the last two seasons on loan at Juventus and wore their jersey. Last summer, the Colombian participated in friendly matches with Chelsea in London, but on August 31st, Juventus borrowed the attacking player for three seasons.
Juventus decided not to pay 5 million euros each season (the total amount until the end of the contract could have reached 25 million euros) and permanently attracted J. Cuadrado from Chelsea, with whom he has signed an agreement until 2020.
J. Cuadrado played 43 matches in the season for the "Old Lady", scoring three goals and making 10 assists.
