Medhi Benatia did not return to Munich's "Bayern" - Turin's "Juventus" bought out the 30-year-old's contract.
"Juventus" borrowed the Moroccan from "Bayern" last summer for 3 million euros with the condition that they could acquire full rights to him after the season. "The old lady" was satisfied with the defender's performance this season and paid another 17 million euros to Bayern.
Medhi Benatia signed a contract with "Juventus" until 2020.
Benatia was far from being the first choice among the ranks of the Italian champions this season - he appeared 18 times and scored one goal in the Italian league.
"Bayern" acquired the Moroccan from "Roma" for 26 million euros in 2014.
