"Juventus" announced that they have reached an agreement with 21-year-old defender Merih Demiral from Turkey. The 21-year-old Turkish player spent the past six months in Italy, arriving at "Sassuolo" from "Alanyaspor" in January. The Italians loaned him with an option to buy the contract. "Sassuolo" took advantage of this opportunity, but immediately had to sell him to "Juventus" for double the price. "La Vecchia Signora" paid 18 million euros for him, while "Sassuolo" only received 9 million. The player himself signed a five-year contract with "Juventus." In the six months in Italy, he managed to play 14 games and score two goals.
