"Juventus" officially confirmed that the team is strengthening its squad with 26-year-old Brazilian national team winger Douglas Costa. The official website states that D. Costa from Munich's "Bayern" is loaned for 6 million euros until the end of the 2017-18 season. After the season, the Italian champions will have the option to acquire his rights for a solid 40 million euros if the Brazilian performs well. D. Costa has been linked with "Juventus" for a long time. The Brazilian, known for his exceptional technique and speed, arrived in Turin yesterday, successfully underwent a medical examination, and today put his signature on the contract. The winger joined "Bayern" in 2015. In his first season, D. Costa became an important player for the Bavarians and was a starter, but under Carlo Ancelotti, he struggled to integrate and had a less successful season. In total, D. Costa played 77 matches and scored 14 goals for "Bayern".
