"Juventus" club has completed negotiations with Gelzenkirchen's "Schalke" for the acquisition of 22-year-old defender Weston McKennie. The promising player will play on loan basis for "Juventus" club next season, but the Italian team will have the right to acquire all rights to him next summer. The loan for "Juve" will cost 4.5 million euros, another 18 million euros will need to be paid if a long-term contract is signed with the player. The amount could later exceed 30 million euros, as his contract with "Juventus" could include a possible 7 million euros in bonuses. W. McKennie has played for the main "Schalke" team since 2017. During that time, he appeared on the pitch 91 times and scored 5 goals. He has played 19 matches and scored 6 goals for the US men's national team. The American became the third summer newcomer to "Juventus" - the club previously added Arthur and Dejan Kulusevski.
