„Porto“ officially announced that they have sold their defender Alex Sandro to Turin's „Juventus“ team.
„Serie A“ club's general director Giuseppe Marotta declared yesterday that „bianconeri“ are close to an agreement with the 24-year-old footballer.
Sandro is expected to provide serious competition for the main left-back Patrice Evra and eventually replace him.
Brazilian joined „Porto“ from „Santos“ in the summer of 2011 and has since become one of the key players of the Portuguese club.
Madrid's „Atletico“ also showed interest in Sandro during this transfer season.
The defender became Massimiliano Allegri's seventh purchase. Earlier, Mario Mandžkučius, Sami Khedira, Paulo Dybala, Simone Zaza, Neto, and Guido Vadala joined the team.
