Madrid's "Atletico" officially announced that they have parted ways with striker Kevin Gameiro.
The 31-year-old Frenchman moved to the "Valencia" team for an estimated sum of 16 million euros.
The player's place in the "Atletico" ranks was already taken by Nikola Kalinic, who was acquired from "Milan".
K. Gameiro joined the Madrid team in the summer of 2016, when "Sevilla" received 27 million euros for him.
Nevertheless, he struggled to fit in with the club in the Spanish capital - in the previous "La Liga" season, the Frenchman appeared in the starting lineup only 11 times (as well as 14 times as a substitute) and scored 7 goals.
