"Roma" defender Kostas Manolas has officially extended his contract with the Italian team.
The new contract will be valid until mid-2022.
"I am very happy that we managed to reach an agreement. The director showed that the club wants to keep me, which coincided with my desires, so reaching an agreement was not difficult," said the 26-year-old Greek.
Earlier it was reported that he was heavily tempted by clubs such as "Zenit", "Inter", "Arsenal", "Chelsea" and "Liverpool".
During the season, Manolas will earn 3 million euros, and there is a buyout clause of 37 million euros in his contract.
Manolas has been playing for "Roma" since 2014.
