"Roma" confirmed that Kostas Manolas is saying goodbye to the Italian capital and will play for "Napoli" next season.
The 28-year-old footballer is joining "Napoli" for 36 million euros. This amount was set in the Greek's contract with "Roma."
Although not officially announced yet, it is believed that K. Manolas has agreed to a four-year contract with his new club, earning 4.5 million euros per season.
In the opposite direction, "Napoli" defender Amadou Diawara will move to the "Roma" team for a fee of 13 million euros.
K. Manolas played for Rome since 2014. In total, the defender played over 200 matches for the "Romans" and scored nine goals.
In "Napoli," he will replace Raul Albiol, who is returning to Spain.
