Paris' "Saint-Germain" confirmed what was already clear long before - Laurent Blanc is leaving the club by mutual agreement.
The 50-year-old strategist, upon his arrival to the Paris team, swept all obstacles in France. Nevertheless, L. Blanc failed to achieve the main goal of PSG club - reaching the final of the UEFA Champions League.
It was announced long before that the contract with L. Blanc would be terminated. It is undisputed that his place will be taken by Unai Emery, who won the UEFA Europa League for the last three consecutive seasons with "Sevilla". The latter also terminated the contract with his Spanish club a little earlier.
"The club would like to thank Laurent and his entire team for the work done over the past three years. During these years, Laurent won as many as 11 titles and left a big mark in the history of this club," it is written on the official website.
L. Blanc triumphed three times in a row in the French "Ligue 1" championship with PSG.
