Laurent Blanc, who has won four "Ligue 1" titles, is returning to work in France.
The 56-year-old specialist has officially become the new coach of Lyon's "Olympique" team. The Frenchman replaced Peter Bosz from the Netherlands, who did not live up to expectations as the head coach.
After leaving PSG in 2016, L. Blanc only coached the Qatari club "Al-Rayyan" for two years.
With PSG, the specialist won three French championship titles, three League Cups, and two French Cups.
L. Blanc also has impressive achievements with the legendary Bordeaux team. With the Girondins club, the Frenchman won the "Ligue 1" title in 2009 and also added a League Cup.
In his time, L. Blanc was a prominent player who won both the World Cup and the European Championship with France.
The Lyon team is currently only in 9th place in the "Ligue 1" championship after 9 rounds.
