Los Angeles "Galaxy" club announced that Landon Donovan, who had ended his career for almost two years, decided to return to the field. The 34-year-old footballer holds two MLS records - he has scored 144 goals and made 136 assists throughout his career. Interestingly, last year he was awarded the most valuable player of the league. Donovan started his career at Leverkusen "Bayer", but in 2001 he returned to his homeland, where he joined San Jose "Earthquakes". In 2005, he moved to Los Angeles "Galaxy", where he spent over a decade. In 2014, the American announced his retirement from football. One of the reasons was lost passion for the game. However, it now seems that Donovan is craving for victories as before.
