"Bayern" from Munich attracted another promising German football player to their ranks. It is announced on the official website that the 22-year-old midfielder Leon Goretzka successfully passed a medical examination and signed a four-year contract, which will come into effect on July 1st. This means that L. Goretzka will finish the season with the "Schalke" team in Gelsenkirchen and will join the Bavarians completely for free in the summer. "We are very happy about Leon Goretzka, who decided to link his future with Bayern, even though he had many offers from abroad. We are very pleased that a player with such potential remains in the Bundesliga," said Bayern's chairman Karl-Heinze Rummenigge. Since 2013, L. Goretzka, who belongs to the "Schalke" team, has played a total of 130 matches and scored 19 goals for the club. The German showed his strengths last summer when he was one of the key players in the national team's victories at the FIFA Confederations Cup.
