Official: L. Karius rented to Istanbul's "Beşiktaş" club

"Liverpool" officially announced on their website that Loris Karius has been sent to Turkey on a two-year loan agreement. The 25-year-old goalkeeper no longer had a place in the future of the "Reds" after Alisson joined the team. The German, who made crucial mistakes in the UEFA Champions League final, will try to revive his career in Istanbul's "Besiktas" team. Karius arrived at Liverpool's goalkeeping department in 2016. Initially, he was Simon Mignolet's backup, but last season he became the first choice in goal and played fairly successfully up to the final. L. Karius has already undergone a medical examination at "Besiktas" and was warmly welcomed by the club's fans at the airport.
