"Roma's 'Lazio' confirmed that they have reached an agreement with 30-year-old 'Liverpool' team's midfielder Lucas Leiva. The Brazilian, who spent ten years at 'Liverpool', was not a frequent choice for Jurgen Klopp last season, so the midfielder decided not to wait for the end of his contract and went to Italy. It is reported that 'Lazio' paid 5 million pounds for the experienced midfielder. The player agreed to a three-year contract. This will be the second club in Europe for L. Leiva - the midfielder arrived at Liverpool from 'Gremio' in 2007 and has been playing there ever since. In total, the Brazilian played 344 matches and scored seven goals for the 'Reds'."
